Ukraine joins rising listing of nations to boycott Women’s Boxing World Championships in Delhi

Ukraine has joined a rising listing of nations which have determined to boycott the Women’s Boxing World Championships to be held in New Delhi subsequent month. Ukrainian web site Saspilin Sport quoted Oleg Ilchenko, vice-president of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine (FBU), as saying that the nation’s boxers wouldn’t compete “on the same platform as athletes from the aggressor countries”.
