To help the COVID 19 epidemic reduction work, the administration of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has signed an MoU with the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune to prioritize analysis within the area of healthcare. The two institutes will conduct college exchanges, joint analysis initiatives, present internships and sensible training to college students and give you options to the challenges going through the general public well being sector.

Earlier SPPU had signed an analogous MoU with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences as a part of this effort.

Meanwhile, the newly established molecular diagnostic testing laboratory on the SPPU campus underwent RT-PCR testing for about 100 samples. About 10 professors of the college had been engaged in RT-PCR testing over a interval of 4 months at IISER to obtain coaching for a similar.
