“Support for the people of Afghanistan is something that we discuss regularly with our Pakistani allies; our efforts to improve the lives and livelihoods and humanitarian conditions of the Afghan people, and to see that the Taliban continue their fulfill the commitments made by them,” he mentioned.
Price mentioned Pakistan included many of those related commitments: counter-terrorism commitments, protected passage commitments, commitments to the residents of Afghanistan. “The reluctance or inability on the part of the Taliban to fulfill these commitments will also have significant implications for Pakistan”.
“Therefore, for this reason, we share many interests with Pakistan in relation to our neighbor,” Price mentioned.
