The father of deceased receptionist Ankita Bhandari expressed dissatisfaction over the continuing investigation within the case and demanded a CBI probe into her homicide.
Led by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) P Renuka Devi, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been probing the case since September 25.
Officials mentioned that the cost sheet within the case is more likely to be filed quickly.
He mentioned, ‘I demand from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami {that a} CBI inquiry needs to be ordered into the homicide of Ankita. I’m not happy with the continuing investigation by the SIT,” her father Virendra Singh Bhandari mentioned on Monday at the beginning of the Tiranga Yatra from his dwelling in Dobh Srikot in Pauri district.
To demand justice for Bhandari, a yatra is being taken out by the scholars and social employees of the world. It will culminate on the Vanantara resort the place Bhandari used to work in Yamkeshwar block close to Rishikesh within the district.
