“The Uttarakhand Board syllabus will be offered in around 103 madrassas run by the Waqf Board and NCERT books will be taught there,” he stated.

“We want that modern education should be given to the children in madrasas, as in any other school. We will make such a system in our madrasas where only two hours will be allotted for teaching Quran and Hadith to the students. The rest of the hours will be devoted to teaching other subjects like any other school,” he stated.
