Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe on Sunday denied current media studies claiming he needed to depart the Paris membership in January, saying he was shocked by the information.
“I never asked for my departure in January,” he instructed reporters after PSG’s 1-0 win over Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
“I didn’t perceive the data that got here out on the day of (Champions League match towards Benfica). I’m neither immediately nor not directly concerned on this info.”
Several French media reported on Tuesday that the striker was fed up with PSG chairman Nasser al-Khelai’s unfulfilled guarantees and needed to depart the capital as quickly as attainable.
“I was as shocked by this news as everyone else. People may think I am involved, I am not at all,” Mbappe stated.
“I used to be taking a nap, my workforce was at my little brother’s sport. We had been shocked once we discovered.
“Later, we needed to cope with it, we had a match to play. I simply needed to say that that is utterly false, I’m very joyful right here.”
The 23-year-old France worldwide was linked with LaLiga champions Real Madrid in a detailed season and was anticipated to depart the Paris membership 5 years later.
