Virat Kohli on Sunday introduced that he’ll step down because the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) after the present season of the Indian Premier League.
“This will be my last IPL as the captain of RCB. I will be a RCB player till I play my last IPL match. I thank all the RCB fans for believing in me and supporting me,” he mentioned in a video launched by RCB.

Earlier on Thursday, Kohli had introduced that he would step down as India’s T20I captain after subsequent month’s ICC T20 World Cup.
RCB, who’re set to tackle Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) of their first match within the United Arab Emirates on Monday, have some thrilling new additions together with Sri Lankan leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga and Singapore batsman Tim David.
Kohli had earlier mentioned, “Our key players will be missed and they are part of the family, but the guys who come in have great skills, especially for these conditions.” “So, I’m very excited to see them, with the whole group rehearsing and of course, to resume a very good season that started last time.”
