Volkswagen India introduced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oryx to supply a subscription-based automotive possession mannequin to Indian clients. VW will launch its subscription-based possession choice throughout 30 retailers in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad within the first section. Customers, who go for membership, will obtain their vehicles with a daily ‘white’ quantity plate. Fares begin at ₹16,500 for the Polo, ₹27,000 for the Vento and ₹59,000 for the T-Roc, with tenor flexibility starting from 24, 36 or 48 months. Monthly rental will embody financing, upkeep and insurance coverage. Operations shall be supported by Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Limited or OAIS.

Commenting on the announcement, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, mentioned, “Car subscriptions are gaining popularity, especially among the urban youth middle class, looking for a convenient ownership experience. Addressing the needs, we are pleased to expand our partnership with Orix and enhance our leasing and subscription platform, which will focus on providing our potential customers with accessibility and peace of mind ownership experience.”
