Kolkata Police on Saturday night time recovered over 50 crude bombs from the Hastings Crossing space, barely 20 meters from the BJP’s occasion workplace.
According to the police, the bombs had been positioned in 4 sacks that are used to pack fruits. Sources mentioned the police had acquired details about the bombs from navy intelligence. Officials from Hastings Police Station, a crew of Bomb Disposal Squad and officers from the Anti-Unrest Section of Kolkata Police rushed to the spot and dispersed the explosives.
“Investigations are on to find out how the bomb fell there,” he mentioned. An official mentioned, the CCTV footage can also be being examined.
