Remembering the Masaan days, Vicky recalled how he lied to the filmmakers about understanding the best way to swim for a scene. The actor revealed he overcame hydrophobia with the intention to study swimming and carry out a scene wherein he needed to dive into the Ganga.

In a dialog with Radio City India, Vicky stated, “Bachpan me swimming seekhne ka bilkul mann nahi karta tha as a result of mujhe deep water our bodies se bohot darr lagta tha. Maine pehli baar swimming seekhi thi Masaan se pehle as a result of unhone bol diya tha ki tumhe Ganga me koodna hai.
