Young Indian batsman Harleen Deol struck an excellent 32-ball 46 as Gujarat Giants posted 169 for six of their Women’s Premier League opener towards UP Warriors right here on Sunday.
Put in to bat, the Giants had been dismissed at 76 for 4 across the midway mark.
But Harleen continued to bat confidently and took the staff to a struggling rating.

Left-arm England spinner Sophie Ecclestone was essentially the most profitable UP Warriors bowler, returning figures of two/25, whereas high Indian bowler Deepti Sharma additionally took two wickets to limit Gujarat Giants to a chaseable complete.
“I think 169 is a great total, we have a great bowling side,” Harleen Deol stated on the mid-innings break. “Looking forward to the chase. It was the strategy, I saw the batsmen coming.
