Attack on Jammu Air Force Station: Major Military, Air Force Station on excessive alert

A excessive alert has been sounded by the Army and Air Force at main army stations and air pressure stations throughout the area following two explosions on the Indian Air Force Station in Jammu early on Sunday.

Military intelligence sources mentioned two of the injured Air Force personnel – a warrant officer and an airman – have neither confirmed the reason for the explosion nor did they hear the sound of the drone earlier than the explosion.

“The injured personnel have given a statement that they came out of the building after hearing one explosion and were splattered after another explosion,” an official mentioned.

According to Air Force sources, the primary blast occurred at round 1.40 am and the second at Air Force Station Satwari at 1.46 am. The blast reportedly passed off close to the helicopter dispersal car parking zone. “One of the explosives hit the top of a one-storey building, while the other hit the ground behind the building,” an official mentioned.
