A National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) crew, which is within the state on the instructions of the Calcutta High Court to probe the post-poll violence, obtained representations from the complainants on Sunday and can proceed to fulfill them on Monday.
A press release issued by the NHRC learn, “As per the route of the Hon’ble High Court of West Bengal…. To look into the assorted instances, complaints, allegations of human rights violations by Shri Justice AK Mishra, Chairman, NHRC, particularly within the West A committee has been constituted within the post-election interval within the state of Bengal.The committee headed by Shri Rajiv Jain, Member, NHRC is visiting numerous locations in West Bengal and analyzing the veracity of those complaints/allegations .
