Terming the Ayodhya land buy by the Ram Mandir Trust as a “scam”, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday alleged that BJP chief and Ayodhya Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay performed a “big role” in it.
“BJP came to the rescue of all those who carried out this scam in the name of Shri Ram. BJP leaders should now come forward and declare how much they have earned from this scam and it is clear that BJP leader and mayor of Ayodhya has a big role. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust should give full account of money received by people through donations,” the AAP chief and Rajya Sabha member stated at a press convention in New Delhi.
He additionally rejected the protection of Champat Rai, normal secretary of the temple belief. “Champat Rai is defending this fraud by claiming that the speed of land could have gone up as a result of which it was purchased on the inflated worth. It is a transparent lie contemplating the sale deed that it’s free from any encumbrance. If they don’t even know the actual charge of this land, then why have they dedicated such an enormous fraud in it.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has sought clarification from the Ram Mandir Trust on the acquisition of land. “Many citizens donated money for the establishment of Ram Mandir, be it farmers who donated from their earnings or laborers. Buying more land for the construction of this temple was a matter of pride for most of the people, but this pride has now turned into despair and shame as BJP leaders have used the money for Ram temple for themselves,” Sisodia stated. .
He stated that false statements by the members of the belief on hike in land charges have solely made issues worse.
