The Punjab unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday staged a protest in entrance of Punjab CM Amarinder Singh’s official residence in opposition to the alleged rip-off within the post-matric scholarship scheme for Dalit college students.

Harpal Singh Cheema stated that the Captain Amarinder Singh-led Congress authorities wasted crores of rupees in scholarships of two lakh Dalit college students and put the way forward for the scholars at risk. “At the behest of the government, the police administration has violated our constitutional right to protest, but the Aam Aadmi Party will continue its struggle and AAP workers will go on hunger strike on June 15 in front of the offices of the Deputy Commissioners. districts across the state,” Cheema stated.

Deputy Leader of Opposition Sarvjit Kaur Manuke, Principal Budhram and Master Baldev Singh stated that the Aam Aadmi Party had raised its voice in opposition to the Dalit scholar scholarship rip-off and despite the fact that the Capt.
