India, UK to discover cooperation in outer area sector

India and Britain on Monday explored the potential for cooperation within the outer area sector.

The two sides exchanged views on this underneath the framework of the India-UK Space Consultation.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) mentioned, “The two sides exchanged information about the respective national space priorities, prospects of bilateral cooperation and discussions in international fora in the outer space sector.”

Officials from the Ministry of External Affairs, Department of Space and Indian Space Research Organization have been a part of the Indian delegation.

The British facet included representatives from the UK Space Agency, the Department for Trade, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
