Netflix is all set to launch Sweet Girl, which stars Jason Momoa as a faithful household man who has to combat all odds to save lots of his daughter, performed by Isabella Merced. Jason shared that the script makes extra sense to him as a result of he is a father in actual life, and Sweet Girl is basically a father-daughter story.
“When I first learn the script, it actually resonated with me as a father. It made me suppose what would I do if this occurred to me and I used to be on this state of affairs. What will I’ve to do? How would I really feel about it? What measures will I put in my palms?” Jason mentioned in a press release.
The premise of Sweet Girl stars Jason Momoa because the character who offers with the lack of his spouse and seeks revenge on the pharmaceutical firm he holds liable for her demise.
Describing the movie as an emotional curler coaster trip, he mentioned, “Obviously, we have taken things really far in the film, and we have some amazing twists that I have never seen before, But there are some parts of this film that just rip. Aapma bhi dil bahl.”
Jason Momoa is understood for taking part in bigger-than-life characters like Aquaman and Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones, so the character introduced a problem for him as an actor. “It’s definitely the hardest thing I’ve had to do to date. I’m playing an ordinary guy without any superpowers – just a man trying to keep his family together – and it’s emotional.” It is a horrible feeling when a father can not defend his household,” he mentioned.
Directed by Brian Andrew Mendoza, Sweet Girl begins streaming on Netflix on August 20.
