Amid complaints about water provide being affected in a number of components of the town, Delhi Jal Board vice-chairman Raghav Chadha together with Delhi Jal Board officers inspected a number of reservoirs in central and west Delhi at 4 am on Thursday.
“He has given strict instructions to the officials to maintain the predetermined water level in each such reservoir so that the water supply is regular and uninterrupted,” the federal government stated in a press release.
The challenge of water availability and high quality has come up a number of occasions in Delhi within the final two months, with complaints coming from a number of quarters. BJP’s Delhi unit can also be taking on the difficulty, with former unit chief Manoj Tiwari organizing “pani panchayats” in 10 meeting constituencies of North East Delhi.
Last month, Chadha had held a gathering with Delhi Jal Board officers and requested them to go to the realm’s MLAs together with them and put together a roadmap to resolve the problems from the place the issues are arising.
