Waititi instructed Empire, “Well, just between (me) you and the readers, I’ve done some crazy things in my life. I’ve lived like ten lives. But this is the craziest movie I’ve ever seen. It’s so different from Ragnarok. It’s crazy. I’ll tell you what’s different. This movie will have a lot more emotion. And a lot more love. And a lot more thunder. And much more Thor, if you saw the pics Huh.”
He continued, “If you’ve written down all the elements of this movie, it shouldn’t make sense. It’s almost like it shouldn’t be made. If you walked into a room and said, ‘I need more of this. Need this and this.’ What’s in that? These guys. What would you call it? Love and thunder. I mean, you’ll never work again. Maybe I won’t go after this.”
