BJP nationwide spokesperson RP Singh tweeted, “Dharmendra Singh, Kulraj Singh and Himmat Singh all three who had introduced Sarup of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Afghanistan have been examined and despatched to the quarantine centre. I pray for his speedy restoration.”

The 78 folks evacuated included a bunch of 46 Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, together with a trio carrying three Sarups from Kabul, who have been later despatched by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee to a gurdwara within the nationwide capital.
Chhabol Singh, a member of the neighborhood, confirmed that six Afghan Sikhs and Hindus who had come on Tuesday examined optimistic for Covid.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) stated in a communication that each one Afghan returnees must endure a 14-day necessary quarantine upon arrival in India.
