Even after a decade, Rajkumar Hirani-directed 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi stays considered one of Bollywood’s greatest friendship dramas. Recently on the event of Madhavan’s 51st birthday, Sharman revisited the three Idiots scene the place the three pals get drunk earlier than Aamir confesses his like to Piya (Kareena Kapoor).
Sharman, who performed Raju Rastogi in 3 Idiots, advised ETimes, “I remember one scene in particular where Aamir, Maddy and I were drunk and cursing Boman Irani’s character in the film. Aamir suggested that We drink and perform. Amir and I were on time for a drink but Maddy had some work and she arrived a little late. Amir asked her to join us. Madhavan doesn’t drink much, but we To catch up, she took a few drinks too fast. By the time we were ready for the scene, we were a little high, but Maddy was even higher. sharman added madhavan A “lovely man”. He additional added, “Often you don’t get to see Madhavan like that because he rarely drinks alcohol (laughs). That scene is really memorable for us. After the release of the film, Rajkumar Hirani sir, Maddy, and me Went on a trip to Aruba and it was absolutely wonderful. Maddy is a very sweet guy; he is very pleasant with everyone. On that trip, we shared a lot of things.”
3 Idiots is a coming-of-age movie based mostly on Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller Five Point Someone. Aamir Khan performed the function of Ranchoddas Shamaldas Chanchaldas aka Rancho, whereas Madhavan performed the function of Farhan Qureshi.
